Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez says separatist plans in Bolivia are doomed to failure
 
The Venezuelan President, Hugo Chávez, predicted that opposition led separatist plans in Bolivia, will be a failure.

“I know that they are going to fail in Bolivia because the dignity of the Bolivian people, peasants, indigenous people, workers, men and women will defeat them,’ said President Chávez in Caracas. 

He reported that “tomorrow (Sunday) they will hold an autonomous referendum in Beni and Pando; they are trying to tear Bolivia apart.”
