Barrio Adentro Health Care Program to be known in the US and India
The purpose of the visit is to promote in these nations a public health care model based on the achievements of the Barrio Adentro Health Care Program and its impact on the creation of a National health Care System.
The Indian allies of the Boston Bolivarian Circle, Padma Balasubramanian, an Endocrinologist, and Pratyuso Bharati, a Health Care System Manager paid a visit last Friday to the Comprehensive Health Care Facility in Los Dos Caminos, a community in the eastern part of Caracas. The purpose of their visit is learning about the policies implemented by the Government of the Bolvarian Republic of Venezuela in the field of public health care of the Barrio Adentro health care network.
Their idea is to promote both in the United States and India the Venezuelan public health care mode. The achievements attained through Barrio Adentro have laid the groundwork to construct a National Public Health Care System based on comprehensiveness, gratuity, inclusion, and participation by the people.
Padma Balasubramania and Pratyuso Bharati expressed how amazed they were by the organisation and the accomplishments of the Barrio Adentro Social Program, including the use of state-of-the-art technology to improve the standards of living of the Venezuelan population, where patients are put first than profits. They said they were happy about the union of Cuba and Venezuela to push forward the development of health care in Venezuela. They further suggested the implementation of this model in other countries with the help of the Venezuelan Government.
