Chilean and Venezuela Presidents signed several accords
(ABN, reproduced by BBC Monitoring Service) - "Chilean President Ricardo Lagos ended his visit to Venezuela during which he and President Hugo Chávez signed a number of agreements on energy and science and technology.
There was agreement at the meeting between Lagos and President Chávez on the need to increase regional integration and to set the Organization of American States in a new context.
During the visit Lagos and Chávez opened the first macro-bilateral trade round, which was attended by more than 500 businessmen from the two countries and is expected to boost bilateral trade".
