(Panorama Digital) - " Minister of Energy and Oil (MEP) and President of PDVSA, Rafael Ramírez, said that official policies in the energetic sector are focused on the strengthening of the private sector in that area.

The Head of the MEP and president of the national oil corporation was present in the VII National Energetic Forum-Exposition 'Private Sector of Hydrocarbons: Development Support' sponsored by the Venezuelan Oil Chamber (CPV) and the companies Chevron-Texaco, Petrobras, Repsol YPF, Statoil and Shell. The objective of the exposition is to know the strategic vision of hydrocarbons, as well as private sector capabilities and succesful experiences.

Minister Ramírez said his participation in the event is oriented towards 'explaining the government's policies regarding the energetic sector and highlight our disposition to strengthen the national private sector'.
