CVG to open offices in Asia, Latin America and Europe
(El Universal) - "The Basic Industries and Mining Ministry (Mibam) plans to open seven offices of the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana Internacional (CVGInternacional) by the end of this year in Europe, Asia and Latin America, the official news agency ABN said.
The announcement was made by the president of CVG-Internacional Ana María González, who added that offices are to be opened in Italy, Russia, Iran, China, India, Brazil, and Colombia.
Said offices will constantly monitor letters of intent and memoranda Venezuela has initiated with such countries.
González indicated that approximately two months ago they inaugurated CVGInternacional office in Spain, and they are bolstering investment in the companies comprising the holding.
She stressed that all branch offices will be opened in the countries where President Hugo Chávez' administration has decided to strengthen foreign relations.
She claimed that this move is to encourage strategic alliances based on the principles of solidarity, cooperation, complementariness, reciprocity, and sustainability in the search for a multi-polar world (...)".
