Venezuelan and Spanish bilateral relations re launched
(El Universal) - "During a press conference by a creative President Chávez and a relaxed José Luis Zapatero, once again Venezuela and Spain ratified the re launching of political and commercial relations. They signed 7 agreements on commercial, oil and scientific cooperation, as well as an agreement through which Venezuela can purchase ships and aircrafts.
President Chávez said 'I insist on my most sincere desire to re launch a close relation between our countries, based on mutual respect, cooperation, defense of democratic principles, human rights, and Rule of Law'.
Spanish Prime Minister, José Luis Zapatero, went from the Parliament to Miraflores Palace on the morning of March 31st, met with President Chávez for two hours and then gave a joint press conference in the Ayacucho Room (...)".
