March 18, 2005 Chilean President Ricardo Lagos to visit Venezuela in April
(AP Worldstream) - "Chilean President Ricardo Lagos will visit Venezuela on April 20 to discuss bilateral relations with Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez, said a Chilean official.

Barros met with Venezuela's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Latin America and the Caribbean Eustoquio Contreras to discuss a possible agreement on double taxation and scientific and technological cooperation, according to a statement issued by Venezuela's Foreign Relations ministry.
Barros also thanked Venezuela's government for backing Chile's Interior Minister José Miguel Insulza's candidacy for Secretary General of the Organization of American States".
