Chávez thinks Condolezza Rice's tone was conciliatory
(El Universal) - "President Chávez was satisfied by the tone of American Secratery of State, Condolezza Rice when she referred to Venezuela during her visit to Mexico.

It is Chave'z opinion that the United States are beginning to consider the attitude of Latin American countries that have spoken in Venezuela's defense.
President Chávez also said that his government also wishes to maintain good relations with the United States (...)
He says he's been harsh only when responding to Washington's 'aggressions'. 'We want to continue providing 1,5 million barrels to the United States', he said, 'we want to continue doing business with American companies, contributing to world development and peace' (...)".
