Venezuelan President seeks South American integration

(Xinhuanet News Agency) - "Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez said on Tuesday that he will promote the integration of South America. 'I come to salute my colleague and friend (Tabaré) Vázquez. My expectation is the South American Union,' said Chávez, who arrived in Montevideo to take part in the presidential sworn-in ceremony of Uruguay's President elect Vázquez. Chávez will sign an agreement to supply Uruguay with oil during his stay in Montevideo. The Venezuelan leader will meet with Uruguayan businessmen and deliver a speech".
