Former Colombian presidential candidate supports Chávez revolution

(El Universal) - "Former presidential candidate and Colombian opposition leader, Horacio Serpa, supported the administration of President Chávez and said Colombia must too have a social revolution (...)

He said to be amazed by the support given by several Latin American countries to a government of social tendency, and said he hopes the same thing happens in Colombia.

'There have been rumors of me going to Venezuela to ask President Chávez for financial help for my presidential campaign and that is speculation of the worst kind'. He said he was willing to abandon the Liberal Party (PL) if it continued being a right wing party and having relations with paramilitaries".
