French Senators met with President of National Assembly

(El Universal) - "In order to evaluate bilateral relations and commercial exchange between both countries, a Delegation of French Senators who were visiting Venezuela met with President of the National Assembly, Nicolas Maduro, in the Legislative Federal Palace.

According to Ronald Du Luart, Vice President of the Senate and President of the Friendship Group France - South America (conformed by 7 senators), they talked about French private investment in Venezuela and existing agricultural co-operation agreements to improve coffee and cocoa crops.

According to a press release from the French Parliament, Du Luart said his country has very important investments in Venezuela, placing it second in South America. He also expressed that both visits from President Hugo Chávez to France, as well as the one planned for October, infer a series of positive messages (...)".
