Chávez tells he ready to face Venezuela vote
(Reuters) - "Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez told former U.S. President Jimmy Carter he would submit to a recall vote, if required, and allow foreign observers to check the electoral process.
'I repeated to President Carter ... that whatever the National Electoral Council decides, my government will accept it,' Chávez said. 'If the council says there will be a referendum against Chávez, then we'll go to the referendum; I've got no problem with that' (…)" .
