PDVSA to invest $6-bil in 2004

News) - "PDVSA will invest 9.64 trillion
bolivares in 2004 (US$6.04bn) out of a total annual
budget of about 15.2 trillion bolivares, news
service Venpres quoted PDVSA president Alí
Rodríguez as saying. Without giving further
details, Rodríguez said that areas of investment
include improving production and refineries. 'This
year we will continue with the restructuring process.
The budget for this year, including the increase
in investment funds, was approved on 31 December,'
he said".
