Iron exports in Venezuela
increased 10,7% during 2003
(Ministry of Finance's Newsletter) - "According
to CVG-Ferrominera del Orinoco, iron exports in
Venezuela increased 10,7% during 2003 to 7.4 million
tons, compared to last year's 6.7 million tons.
Commercialization manager of the company, Jorge
Cañas, said that "this is the highest
amount achieved by CVG Ferrominera since 1999".
