Trinidad and Venezuela to sign
energy pact
(Reuters) - Trinidad and Tobago next month
will sign an agreement with neighboring Venezuela
aimed at exploiting cross-border oil gas reserves
shared by the energy-rich nations, according to
government officials. Negotiators from both countries
met in Port of Spain last week to conclude a draft
memorandum of understanding covering procedures
for using hydrocarbon reservoirs crossing a delimitation
line between Venezuela and Trinidad.
