Sales are expanded
(El Universal) - "Venezuelan commercial sector has enviable conditions. Consumers have more money in their pockets, are willing to buy things and trust the next year will be better.
This result, according to the Venezuelan Central Bank, is shown when comparing the period January-May 2006 with the same period last year. Sales registered an increase of 32.45%, mainly boosted by purchase of vehicles, food, construction materials, textiles and hardware.
Luis Vicente Leon, Director of Datanalisis, said trust levels in the population show that 64% think the economical situation is positive, 78% say their personal economical situation has improved and 73% thinks next year will be better. This makes consumption explode'.
