Venezuela mining industry for more processing capacities
(Prensa Latina) -"The Venezuelan mining industry promotes the increase of processing capacities as part of the efforts for a better use of the natural resources in the country, said specialists of this sector.
The Orinoco CVG Ferro -mining enterprise -filial of Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana (CVG) - set up the first step of a plant devoted to raise the concentration level of the iron ore.
The new facility will help to materialize the annual processing up to 12 million tons of low content ore for its conversion to eight million tons with a ferrous proportion up to 78 percent.
The CVG managers, located in Bolivar's state, noted the step will trigger the procedures to improve the quality of the industry's accumulated existences raising the better use of the reserves.
The state group's goal pursues the exploitation of the iron and its derivatives contributing in this way with the necessary volumes of the national iron and steel industry and the export offer of the country".
