(El Universal) - "Marta Lomas, Cuban Minister for Foreign Investment and Economic Co-operation, signed several agreements with Venezuelan Energy and Petroleum Minister Rafael Ramírez including the building of 11 ethanol-producing plants in Venezuela.

Cuba and Venezuela decided to duplicate their cooperation agreements in 2007 compared to last year, with projects amounting to USD 1.5 billion under the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA)".
