Venezuela leads growth in the region
(Ultimas Noticias) - "According to a report by the United Nations Economical Commission for Latin America (Cepal), Latin American countries will grow 5% this year, surpassing the expansion registered in 2005 and completing a virtuous cycle of four years of sustained growth, not frequently seen in the region, leaving behind its volatility.
This year's expansion will be leaded by Venezuela and Dominican Republic , which are expected to grow 8%, followed by Argentina , which will grow 7,6%. Panama is next with an expected growth of 6,5%, Peru (5,8%), Chile (5,6%), Uruguay (5%), Colombia and Honduras with 4,8%, Costa Rica 4,3% and Bolivia with 4,2% (...)".
