League of Arab States supports Venezuela for the UN's Security Council

(Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias) - "The Arab League is planning to issue a joint statement to support Venezuela's candidature to a non-permanent chair at the UN's Security Council.

Mr. Ahmed Benhelli, Secretary General of political Affairs of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, expressed his optimism in obtaining the approval of the 22 nations that integrate this organization (...)

'We trust that President Hugo Chávez's voice and that of the Venezuelan people will be the representative voice of third world countries' (...)".
