Venezuela, Netherlands Get Closer

(Prensa Latina) - "Bernard Bot, foreign minister of the Netherlands, has announced the possible signing a double taxation agreement and memorandum of understanding on energy with Venezuela.

Bot and Venezuelan Vice President José Vicente Rangel discussed fighting drugs, economic and trade issues, and others.

The minister, who is leading an official mission, insisted on both states´ respect for the territorial integrity and said the Netherlands will consider supporting Caracas in its candidacy for the UN Security Council.

He left open the possibility that delegations of the two countries firm up all the proposals addressed during this visit".
