400 international observers will present during the Venezuelan presidential elecctions

(Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias) - "Almost 400 international observers from the European Union, the Organisation of American States and electoral tribunals from Latin America, Asia and Europe will be present during the Venezuelan presidential elections in December.

The main objective of international observers is to verify the transparency, suitability, objectivity and impartiality of the organisation of the presidential elections in our country.

According to the Bolivarian News Agency (ABN), the Deputy Manager of International Relations of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Demetrio Brizuela, said the electoral body has already scheduled the procedures for the visit from the international observers to Venezuela, which will be discussed by the board of the CNE during the following days.

Brizuela also said that they have been inviting different delegations of international observers for the past six months, in order for them to presence and verify the organisation of the Venezuelan electoral process (...)".
