Pequiven: India's Reliance eyes CRP petrochemical project
(BNamericas.com) - "Indian industrial conglomerate Reliance has expressed interest in partnering with Venezuela's state petrochemicals firm Pequiven to manufacture plastics, resins and other petrochemicals from refinery byproducts, Pequiven president Saul Ameliach told BNamericas.
The goal is to sign a joint venture contract with Reliance for a project in Paraguaná, Falcón state, due to its experience in producing petrochemicals from refinery byproducts, Ameliach said. Byproducts would come from the 956,000 barrel-a-day CRP refining complex in Paraguaná.
A delegation from Reliance is scheduled to visit in the coming days, he added (...)".
