Venezuela ratifies social cooperation with Uruguay

(El Universal) - "Venezuela ratified on June 9 a law approving the Social Development Agreement with Uruguay, following approval by the legislature.

Under the agreement both countries are to provide each other aid in the fields of popular economy and social development through the exchange of concrete proposals, official news agency ABN reported.

Venezuela is to assist Uruguay in plans and projects related to small productive initiatives by supplying tools and working capital, in order to bolster training for cooperatives in Uruguay".
