(VHeadline.com) - "National Electoral Council (CNE) director, German Yépez says everything is ready to launch recall referendums against Mayors, State Governors and National Assembly (AN) deputies.

The infrastructure for approved referendums is in place, Yépez clarifies, and security arrangements under Plan Republic have been drawn up.

Last week, political actors were given a presentation of the process and informed of signature collection points and instruments to be used, namely, laptops, notebooks and fingerprint- checking machines.

The director confirms that recall referendums are being launched against the following State Governors: Tarek William Saab (Anzoategui), Didalco Bolivar (Aragua), Francisco Rangel Gomez (Bolivar), Luis Felipe Acosta Carlez (Carabobo), Jhonny Yanez Rangel (Cojedes), Diosdado Cabello (Miranda), as well as State Governors of Vargas, Yaracuy and Trujillo.

The CNE decided last week that in the case of Sucre State Governor the number of signatures collected was insufficient, as well as those against the Monagas Governor.

In total, the CNE has suspended referendums against 13 Mayors and three State Governors".
