Venezuela's unemployment rate drops in February.

(The Associated Press) - " Venezuela's unemployment rate shrank to 10.7 percent in February, down 2.2 percentage points from the previous month, according to official statistics.

In January, unemployment stood at 12.9 percent, the National Statistics Institute said.

The oil-producing country has seen strong economic growth amid high world oil prices. In 2005, the Venezuelan economy grew some 9.3 percent. Officials have estimated growth of about 5 percent this year".
