Ministry of Finance said investment on education increased 288% between 2001 and 2005

(Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias) - "According to the final report by the Ministry of Finance, expenditure on education has increased 288% since 2001. It represented USD 2 billion then, and reached USD 5,7 billion in 2005 (...)

Between 2001 and 2005, there was also a great increment in cultural expenditure, representing USD 56 million in 2001 and reaching USD 225 million in 2005, which means an increase of 400%".
