Jademar Suárez, clarinet
Wim Van Moerbeke, piano

Jademar Suárez was born in Caracas in 1977. Her clarinet
studies were made under the guidance of maestros Jorge Montilla
(1993 -1999) at the Conservatorio Superior Simón Bolívar in
Caracas, Eddy Vanoosthuyse (1999 - 2004) at the Koninklijk
Conservatorium van Muziek en Drama in Ghent, Belgium and
Walter Seyfarth (from 2003) in Berlin. She has participated in
master-classes and clarinet workshops in Belgium (1998), Hungary
(1998) and Spain (2003 - 2004) having lessons with Luis Rossi,
Walter Seyfarth, Howard Klug, Robert Spring, Joszef Bálogh,
Charles Bay, István Varga and Eddy Vanoosthuyse. In Venezuela,
she was principal clarinet at the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de
Chacao (1994 -1997) and second clarinet with the Orquesta
Sinfónica de Miranda (1997-1999). She played E-flat clarinet with
the Belgian clarinet choir Claribel from 1999 - 2005, with which
she toured around Belgium, the Netherlands, as well as to Tempé,
Arizona and the Festivals organised by the International Clarinet
Association in Oklahoma and Salt Lake City in 2002 and the
Midwest Convention in Chicago in 2005. In 2004, she graduated
from the Royal Conservatory of Music and Drama in Ghent,
receiving the diploma of Master in Music ‘with distinction’.
Additionally, she holds a bachelor diploma in Modern Languages
from the Universidad Metropolitana (1999 - Caracas, Venezuela).
She is currently clarinet teacher at the music school of the
Táchira Youth Orchestra in Venezuela and clarinet teacher at
the Colombo-Venezuelan Youth Orchestra in San Cristóbal,
Venezuela and Cúcuta, Colombia.

Wim Van Moerbeke was born in Bruges, Belgium, in 1980.
He began piano studies at the age of seven with Gemma De
Meester; under her guidance he participated in the competitions
Cantabile in 1992-1996, Günther in 1992 and Young Tenuto in
1995 in which he achieved laureate-finalist status. In the National
Competition for Music and Word-Art of the Gemeentekrediet he
was finalist in 1998 and won the Third Price in the Kaufmann
European Music Competition. He studied at the Royal Conservatory
in Gent with Johan Duijck and has been recently admitted in the
Erasmushogeschool Royal Conservatory of Brussels to refine his
playing with Jan Michiels.
He has given concerts in Italy, Belgium, Austria and Taiwan;
has participated in masterclasses with Peter Ritzen, Rian De Waal, John Whitelaw, Alexis Weissenberg, Hans Leygraf, and performs
as a duo with violinists Dina Zemtsova and Dagmar Ondracek.
He currently teaches piano at the Music Academy in Bruges
and is the accompanist of the Strings Department in the Music
Academy in Tielt.
