(Ven Global News) -"The first production phase will star in 2008. During this phase, the cell phone plant, integrated by Venezuela and China , will produce one million of mobile equipments per year.

The cell phone factory will be inaugurated next December by the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG Spanish acronym) Telecom and the Chinese company Huawei.

The information was provided by CVG's President; Julio Duràn who pointed out that the plant is being built in Ciudad Zamora, Cua, Miranda state. (South of Caracas )

He highlighted that the plant will produce one million cell phones and it is programmed for the first trimester of 2008.

Regarding the social impact, Durán assured that the production process as well as the plant will generate more than 1,000 direct employments.

In his opinion, the factory will offer low-price cell phones with good quality and technology required by the mobile phone industry.
