Lula and Bachelet confirmed their attendance to the I South American Energetic Summit

(Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias) - "The Presidents of the Republic of Chile, Michele Bachelet, and Federative of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula de Silva, confirmed their attendance to the I South American Energetic Summit that will take place next April 16th and 17th at the Margarita Island, Venezuela.

The announcement was made by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez Frías, during his program, Aló Presidente.

Presidents and representatives of the 12 countries of the South American continent will attend to the Summit.

Likewise, Chávez said that the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Patrick Manning, will attend as a special guest. Manning already confirmed his attendance (...)

During this event, which will last two days, subjects of energetic interests will be debated, such as: oil, gas, biofuels, electricity, alternative energies, and energetic diagnosis and balance".
