Brazilian businessmen support Venezuela to join MERCOSUR (ABN) - "Brazilian businessmen widely support Venezuela to fully join to the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), as it was showed in a study published in Reuters.
The survey, made by the Venezuelan-Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which is formed by 418 Brazilian companies, reflected that 76.5% of them are on favor to make Venezuela a full member of the block, which is formed by Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
'Big part of Brazilian and Venezuelan companies have already adapted to ''MERCOSUR'' regulations', the study says.
Part of the companies that were consulted, including big companies of the automobiles, food, shoes, and machinery sectors, have exported their products to Venezuela last two years.
In the past, the Industry National Confederation of Brazil (CNI- Portuguese abbreviation) has already shown its interest in Venezuela joining MERCOSUR.
The study was spread some hours before the arrival of the Venezuelan President to the Brazilian city of Manaos, where he will hold a meeting with his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva, to discuss energetic integration issues between both countries". |
