Venezuela e Iran review signed bilateral agreements

(Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias) - "President of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, welcomed Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadineyad, to talk about the signed agreements between both nations and to promote the signing of new accords.

This is President Amhadineyad's third visit in Venezuela and second stay during this year (.)

During his previous visit in Venezuela on January 2007, Venezuela and Iran signed 11 agreements. One of the most important accords was the creation of a joint venture to exploit, develop, produce and market oil.

In his first visit, both leaders signed several agreements, among them, the creation of an iron and steel joint venture and a cement factory, a training center in petrochemistry and center to produce medicines and surgical instruments.

Furthermore, during President Chávez' visit in Iran on July 2007, both leaders signed 14 cooperation agreements focused on the common interest for the integral progress and development (.)".
