Parliament hopes to reach at least 5.4 million homes throughout Venezuela (Prensa Latina) - 'The Venezuelan National Assembly has expanded stages for the debate of the constitutional reform project, including mobile units at places with no telecommunication services.
According to the Congress' members, the aim is to spread changes of the Constitution's 33 articles.
Deputy Darío Vivas highlighted the activation of seven mobile units, which will visit the country's 24 states to facilitate discussions in remote areas.
The parliament hopes to reach at least 5.4 million homes throughout the national territory.
The country's top entity also started the 'Home-to-Home' plan, backed by 800,000 door knockers launched in mid-August by President Hugo Chávez.
Meanwhile, the Assembly's Joint Commission predicts the reception this week of representatives from opposition organizations, to define positions on determined aspects of the constitutional reform'.
