Vuelvan Caras Mission has graduated 692 thousand 131 students in all the country

(Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias) - "President, Hugo Chávez underscored that in all the country there is already a total of 692 thousand 131 graduated people from Vuelvan Caras Mission, including Vuelvan Caras Youth.

The statement was made during his speech in the act to launch Ché Guevara mission, that will replace Vuelvan caras Mission, carried out at the Rios Reyna Hall of the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.

He explained that 598 thousand people have graduated from Vuelvan Caras, and 94 thousand 131 are graduating from Vuelvan Caras Youth at the act of this Thursday from the entire country.

He emphasized that people have to study and be trained with a socialist point of view (which is the goal of Vuelvan Caras Mission, and now Ché Guevara). He also stressed that social missions are a way to achieve this objective.

'It worth giving it all for the people, because they know how to repay to their revolutionary government', he said.

The President used the opportunity to insist on his call to build a socialist Venezuela, 'because that is the only way we can have a real society in peace, love, and complying with Christ's precept: Love each other. That can only happen in a socialist society'.

According to Chávez, capitalism promotes individualism, 'the society is finished and, in those conditions, society becomes a fight for survival'; therefore, his call to build the country over a socialist base.

He said that Ché Guevara Mission starts with 49 thousand 848 students to build a new man, a new woman, a new society 'and now, I want Vuelvan Caras Mission to jump towards Ché Guevara Mission'.

Chávez assured that all this missions project is part of Simón Bolívar's idea expressed at the Congress of Angostura: the knowledge and the work, two powerful springs of human development, two levers boosting the progress of the people 'and that allow us to make respectable and happy men and women, which is not possible under the capitalism, because societies end totally corrupted', the head of State added.

Before starting his speech, while he listened to some lancer's (name given to the people graduated from any of governmental educative social missions) testimonies, President Chávez said that, with the Constitutional Reform, missions will get a constitutional rank.

'It will not depend on a government boosting them, whether it supports them or not. This (constitutional reform) will commit all State Powers and people, because they (missions) will be in the Constitution to fight against poverty, inequity, and injustice', he emphasized.

Regarding the Reform, he said: 'We need to fight a lot: study it, discuss it, and convince majorities. Constitutional reform has been done to strengthen social changes and the revolution. We are starting a long process. This is part of a great mission: Mission Christ 2021. Zero poverty, zero misery, Simón Bolívar's project'.

'The same way we defeated them (opposition) nine years ago, in December we are going to clobber them again with constitutional reform approval. This revolution came to stay here forever. It will never end', he said".
