(Agencia Bolivariana de Noticias) - "This new project will consist of constructing new and much more human oriented jail centres where the real needs of prisoners will be met.

'Just as we construct schools and hospitals to cover the necessities of the people, we should construct new sites, more human, for those who have fallen into disgrace and therefore are deprived of their freedom' assured the President.

This proposal has the objective of conditioning the jail centres to be appropriate for prisoners to study, learn and work during their stay.

'These men deprived of their liberty will not be deprived of their freedom to grow spiritually' added Chávez.
