Spanish government supports Moratinos
(La Vanguardia) - "Spanish
President José Luis Rodríguez
Zapatero agreed with his Minister of Foreign
Relations and the government, to face
the Popular Party (PP) after Minister
of Foreign Affairs Angel Moratinos accused
José Maria Aznar of supporting
the 2002 coup d'etat against President
Hugo Chávez.
The Spanish government thinks it would
have no problem in demonstrating that
former President Aznar instructed Spanish
ambassador in Venezuela to support interim
President Pedro Carmona Estanga, during
the 2002 coup(
