Venezuelan President
hopes to improve ties with US

on Saturday expressed his willingness
to improve relations with Washington after
the re-election of George W. Bush.
Chávez, who is in the Dominican
Republic for a visit, described relations
between his country and the United States
as 'difficult'.

in its relations with Latin America, and
Venezuela in particular,' Chávez
