Venezuela willing to deepen trade relations with US - Energy Minister
(PDVSA's Press Department) - "A high level Venezuela government delegation headed by Energy and Mines Minister Rafael Ramírez, has been discussing a long term, encompassing vision of Venezuela/United Sates energy relations with key US policy makers.

`We have conveyed Venezuela's willingness to deepen our trade relations with the United States, which has been the main market for Venezuelan hydrocarbons over more than 80 years', Ramírez said.

The group has met with top federal government officials, senators congressmen, representatives of intergovernmental organisations and businessmen, who have confirmed their interest in Venezuela and the wealth of opportunities for further enhancement of bilateral energy relations.

The Venezuelan delegation includes the President of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), Alí Rodríguez, the Deputy Minister of Hydrocarbons Luis Vierma, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the United States, Bernardo Álvarez and the President and CEO of CTGO Petroleum Corporation, Luis Marín".
