U.S. Ambassador: things will be clearer after the U.S. election
(El Universal) - "William Brownfield, U.S. Ambassador to Venezuela, reiterated his government's willingness to improve relations with Venezuela.

He believes such improvement in relations is to be gradual, adding that things will be clearer following the November 2 presidential election in the United States (…)

(…) Both governments have publicly stated their interest in improving bilateral relations. Certainly, in a few days (following the regional and local election in Venezuela, and the presidential election in the U.S.), we will have a clearer outlook regarding the terms under which future relations are to develop"
