Venezuela defends proposed
media law
(Big News Network.com) - "Venezuela's
Information Ministry spoke out against
criticism of the nation's proposed new
media law that some say may inhibit freedom.

in Radio and Television would prevent
television stations from showing sex,
violence or vulgar language between
the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
President Hugo Chávez
says the law would protect the nation's
children from being exposed to adult
themes (
