Venezuelan doctors in 'Barrio Adentro'

Venezuelan doctors joined the 'Barrio
Adentro Programme' (medical assistance
for poor neighbourhoods) (…)
The aspiration is to soon have between
15.000 and 17.000 general doctors ready
to join the communal consultancies of
'Barrio Adentro' all around Venezuela.
It is expected that on a long-term basis,
Venezuelan doctors will replace Cuban
doctors in the provision of medical assistance
for the most neglected people (…)".
