PDVSA in talks to fund development of Mariscal Sucre
(Upstream, Reuters) - Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA is in talks with Japan Bank for a $2 billion credit line to fund the development of Mariscal Sucre PDVSA Finance Director José Gregorio Morales told to state news agency Venpres.

A preliminary agreement for the Mariscal Sucre offshore project has already been reached between PDVSA, Shell and Mitsubishi. He said the company was also in talks with Citigroup, Citibank, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley for up to $2 billion in financing for its Anaco gas project.
