Microenterprises Receive Bs.120 Billion in September
(Ministry of Finance Official Bulletin No 56-October, reproduced by Conapri's newsletter: Invest Venezuela No 37) - The banking system granted Bs.120.5 billion in loans to microenterprises in September. Of this amount Bs.111.8 billion was lent by commercial banks and Bs.8.6 billion by state banks, according to the September report issued by the Superintendency of Banks and Other Financial Institutions.

Banco Mercantil held the largest loan portfolio for microenterprises with Bs.29.16 billion; followed by Banesco Bs.15.49 billion; Venezuela Bs.13.40 billion and Provincial Bs.12.06 billion.
