Non traditional
exports increased in 15,6%
(El
Universal) - Non traditional exports will
close this year in around 5.000 million dollars,
according to Víctor Alvarez, President
of the Bank of Foreign Commerce (Bancoex).
Based
on the numbers given by the bank, non traditional
exports (according to the origin certificate)
increased in 15.6%. "The first trimester
of this year compared to the same period last
year, non-traditional exports increased 6.8%,
the second trimester they increased 12.1% and
the third trimester 25%, which totals an average
of 15.6% increase".
President Bancoex
assured that by the end of 2004 it is expected
that exports will increase up to 6.000 million
dollars, by this we mean 20%.
