OPEC chief content with supply
(Upstream) - No need to raise output, says Silva OPEC Secretary-General Alvaro Silva said. There was sufficient supply in world oil markets and that raising output would not ease prices. "We are seeing oil prices at the high end of Opec's $22 to $28 band. These price levels will be reviewed in the next extraordinary meeting on 4 December," Silva was quoted as saying by financial newspaper Expansion.

"For the moment, we can say that the market is sufficiently supplied, but the member ministers will meet to take the necessary measures," he said.
