Paribas interested
in financing subways and rails in Venezuela
(Venpres)
- "Representatives from the French
investment bank BNP Paribas, expressed
their interest in financially supporting
the rail and subway construction projects
that are being developed by the Venezuelan
government all around the country, as
informed by Dominique Remy, president
of the French bank, to Venezuelan Minister
of Infrastructure Ramón Carrizales
Rengifo.
'The
main purpose of the visit to Venezuela
is to obtain information about the government's
projects for the Valencia and Los Teques
subways, and we're also interested in
the development of rails, given the trust
Paribas feels towards the country's recovery',
said Remy (
