Venezuelan reserves per capita the highest in Latin America

(Venpres, reproduced by Últimas Noticias) - "The Representative of the Inter American Development Bank in Venezuela, Román Mayrga, said that at the moment, Venezuelan international reserves per capita are the highest in Latin America.

'This happens based on the huge amount of human and natural resources the country has. Then, if you see a tendency towards recovery and growth, based on the wide resources the country has, one feels hopeful', he said.

He referred to the Risk Assessment Company, Moody's, which improved its perception about Venezuela.

'I find this improvement in qualification entirely reasonable if we consider that first, Venezuela has never stopped paying its debt; second, it has enormous foreign reserves; third, its economy is recovering and growing and fourth, all of the above on a base of immense resources, it is reasonable', he said".
